How to see an Audi Q4 e-tron electric car in Australia on its promotional tour

Potential buyers looking to get their hands on Audi's latest electric SUV can now get a look and feel of the Q4 e-tron ahead of its local arrival later this year.

Audi Australia has imported three examples of the New Zealand-spec Q4 e-tron for a dealership "roadshow", ahead of the first customer deliveries later this year.

The Q4 e-tron will be the brand's third all-electric vehicle (EV) to join its local line-up, and this dealership roadshow will give Australians their first chance to touch and feel the luxury SUV.

The roadshow will predominantly tour around the eastern seaboard, spanning Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania between now and late-July.

Audi Australia has confirmed the Q4 e-tron will be available as either the rear-wheel-drive 45 or all-wheel-drive 55 Quattro, with buyers also able to choose between the regular SUV or coupe-styled Sportback body styles.

The mid-sized EV will be priced from $88,300 plus on-road costs for the base model Q4 45 e-tron with either body style. The 55 Quattro will be priced from $108,500 plus on-road costs for the SUV, or $109,500 plus on-roads costs for the Sportback.

Size-wise, the Q4 e-tron slots between the Q3 and Q5 and is about 150mm shorter (bumper to bumper) than a Tesla Model Y.

For reference, the Audi Q4 e-Tron measures 4590mm long, 1865mm wide, and 1613mm tall in regular form – 90mm longer than a Q3, but about 100mm shorter nose to tail than a Q5 – with 520 litres of boot space with the rear seats up. The Sportback quotes 535L of boot space.

While specific details on the upcoming Australian specification are yet to be revealed, the 45 will come standard with; LED headlights, a digital instrument display, power tailgate, leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, tri-zone climate-control air conditioning, and metallic paint.

The 55 Quattro is set to add; an upgraded instrument cluster, matrix LED headlights, the S Line exterior styling pack, front sports seats, progressive steering, and colour ambient interior lighting.
