Mazda just dropped the price of its most popular model
Thanks to Mazda's end-of-financial-year sales, you can now buy a Mazda CX-5 for the price of a CX-30 (but you'll have to be quick!).
The automotive industry's end-of-financial year sales have begun, and Mazda's across-the-range discounts have seen prices for some of its most popular models drop until June 30.
Buyers can now purchase a base-spec Mazda CX-5 – the brand's top-selling model – for less than an entry-level version of the smaller CX-30 with a Vision Technology package.
Under the temporary price reductions, the CX-5 now starts from $37,990 drive-away – representing savings of up to $3134 depending on where you live.
The biggest savings can be seen on the top-spec CX-5 Akera AWD with a petrol engine, which has undergone a drive-away price drop of up to $4400.
Mazda currently offers the CX-5 with the choice of a petrol or turbo petrol engine and either front- or all-wheel drive.
The CX-5 undercuts key rivals the Mitsubishi Outlander and the popular Toyota RAV4. Depending on where you reside, you can also pick up a Kia Sportage for around the same price as the CX-5.
Alongside the CX-5, Mazda is also offering discounts across other popular models in its range.
The most affordable version of the CX-3 small SUV now starts from $29,990 drive-away, and if customers are happy to forego the $2000 Vision Technology pack in the Mazda CX-30, pricing for the entry-level variant now starts from $35,990 drive-away.
The Vision Technology package includes driver attention monitoring, a 360-degree view camera, front cross-traffic alert, cruising and traffic support, front parking sensors, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
The Mazda 3 hatch and sedan now start from $32,990 drive-away (excluding the Vision Technology package), and customers looking to purchase a Mazda 6 sedan can save up to $3000, with prices now starting from $37,990 drive-away.
The CX-60 range has also been discounted. The CX-60 G40e Evolve mild hybrid is now priced at $59,990 drive-away, while the CX-60 G40e GT mild hybrid is now priced at $68,990 drive-away for all states, excluding Western Australia. There are additional offers on the wider Mazda CX-60 Evolve and GT range.
Finally, ABN holders looking to purchase before the June 30 cut-off can save between $2063 to $3438 on select 4x2 and $4813 to $7563 on 4x4 BT-50 models.
The Mazda BT-50 dual-cab 4x4 manual is now priced from $49,990 drive-away. Alternatively, there are also savings to be had on the BT-50 SP dual-cab 4x4 automatic, now from $64,670 drive-away.
If you want to purchase a Mazda, you can head over to the Drive Marketplace and browse a range of new, used, and demonstrator models.
