Better drivers are safer drivers

Working together to make driver training more accessible for all Australian drivers

Young Australian drivers are the most over-represented group in the nation's road trauma statistics, and over the past five years, the percentage of young driver fatalities has been increasing. So what can we do about it?

Drive and nine.com.au are calling for Safe Driving Courses to be made more accessible for all drivers going for their P Plates. Money and location/availability should not be a barrier to saving lives. Over the coming weeks, we'll provide more insight into this training, where training providers are located, and the pathways that show how better-trained drivers are safer drivers.
